Teresa Seeman-Buck,TCRG

Teresa Seeman-Buck has been involved in Irish Dancing for the past 35 years. Over her long and successful competitive career, Teresa placed in the top 3 in the Midwest Region, has many North American finishes, and qualified for the Worlds 6 years. Teresa retired from competition in 1999 and focused on teaching dance and obtaining a college degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Teresa became a Preschool Director and Teacher at St. Mark’s Lutheran School for 2 years before she started a family of her own.

Teresa enjoyed teaching Irish Dance with Tim O’Hare for 13 years and was excited to start her new journey with the MacConmara Academy in 2009. She earned her teaching certification with the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin, Ireland and is now a registered teacher with the Mid-American Region and North American Irish Dance Teachers Association.

Teresa’s enthusiasm for Irish Dance motivates her students to be the best they can be. Her competitive and professional experience helps students achieve their personal and competitive goals.

Marcus Maloney, ADCRG & TCRG

Marcus started dancing at five years of age with the O’Shea Irish Dance School in Dublin. During his competitive career he went on to win five Leinster titles, the Great Britain title and North American title before retiring in 2004, ranking Second at the All-Ireland and World Championships. Marcus gained his Irish Dance Teachers Exam (TCRG) in 2004 and currently teaches and assists at workshops worldwide.

Since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours degree in Business and Economics, Marcus has been performing full-time. Highlights include Lord of the Dance, Busch Gardens and multiple years with Riverdance. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Marcus was the choreographer and Assistant Director of Celtic Fyre at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, USA.


Aisling O'Malley, TCRG

Aisling started Irish dancing in Boston, MA at the age of four under the O'Shea-Chaplin Academy. She successfully competed for over 14 years regionally, nationally and internationally at World Championship level.

Following her years of competitions, Aisling started to dance professionally joining various dance shows including both 'Irish Thunder' and 'Emer​ald Beat' at Busch Gardens directed by the O’Shea’s based in Dublin, Ireland. In 2006 Aisling also toured Japan with 'Trinity Irish Dance Company'. Most recently, Aisling toured with 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance' Troupe two as the principal good girl role, Saoirse. She has toured all over the world in countries such as South Africa, Israel, Brazil, all over the United States, and various countries in Europe including performing several times at the Palais des congrès in Paris. Aisling has also toured Taiwan four times with 'Feet of Flames' where she had the privilege of dancing on stage with Michael Flatley for over 15,000 people.

While touring with 'Lord of the Dance' in 2010, Aisling took the T.C.R.G. exam and became a certified Irish Dance teacher with the Irish Dancing Commission, An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelaca, in Dublin, Ireland.

In addition to performing in shows, Aisling has instructed at Camp Rince Ceol, an Irish dance camp located in New York and California, where hundreds of children from all over the US travel to learn new skills in Irish Dance.

After touring for over 7 years, Aisling performed her last show in the spring of 2013. It was while on tour that she met her husband, Kevin.

In addition to teaching Irish dance, Aisling also works as a Realtor with Keller Williams.
