Teresa Seeman-Buck has been involved in Irish Dancing for the past 23 years. Over her long and successful competitive career, Teresa placed in the top 3 in the Midwest Region, has many North American finishes, and qualified for the Worlds 6 years. Teresa retired from competition in 1999 and focused on teaching dance and obtaining a college degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Teresa became a Preschool Director and Teacher at St. Mark’s Lutheran School for 2 years before she started a family of her own.
Teresa enjoyed teaching Irish Dance with Tim O’Hare for 13 years and was excited to start her new journey with the MacConmara Academy in 2009. She earned her teaching certification with the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin, Ireland and is now a registered teacher with the Mid-American Region and North American Irish Dance Teachers Association.

Marcus Maloney, ADCRG & TCRG
Marcus started dancing at five years of age with the O’Shea Irish Dance School in Dublin. During his competitive career he went on to win five Leinster titles, the Great Britain title and North American title before retiring in 2004, ranking Second at the All-Ireland and World Championships. Marcus gained his Irish Dance Teachers Exam (TCRG) in 2004 and currently teaches and assists at workshops worldwide.
Since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours degree in Business and Economics, Marcus has been performing full-time. Highlights include Lord of the Dance, Busch Gardens and multiple years with Riverdance. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Marcus was the choreographer and Assistant Director of Celtic Fyre at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, USA.
Molly McCreary, B.M. Music Ed., T.C.R.G.
Molly McCreary has been involved in Irish Dance since she
began dancing at the age of 6 with Tim O’Hare at The O’Hare School of Irish
Dance. She has performed in many shows
since she was 7 including First Night Akron, Songs of Ireland, half time at The
Cavs game and many others. Molly was a
member and co-captain of The O’Hare Troup performing group since its conception
in 2000. In 2009, when MacConmara Academy was created, she furthered her Irish
Dance career with Teresa Buck, TCRG. At MacConmara, she was co-captain of
MacConmara Celtic Storm from 2009-2011 along with continuing to further her
competitive career. Molly has since competed in numerous local competitions, 15
Mid-American Regional Oireachtas competitions, 8 All American National
competitions, and 3 All Irish Nationals.
She earned her teaching certificate with the Irish Dancing Commission in
Dublin, Ireland in 2015. Molly is a registered Irish Dance Instructor with The
Irish Dancing Commission, Mid-American Region and the North American Irish
Dance Teachers Association.
Molly graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s
degree in Music Education in December 2014. She taught music theory, music
history and orchestra at Firestone High School beginning in January 2015. At
the start of the 2015-16 school year, she began teaching with Kent City
Schools. Molly currently teaches K-5 general music, 5 grade choir,
high school strings and middle school strings. She is actively involved in the
National Association for Music Education and Ohio Music Educators Association.
